Will you scream confessions of the soul and the psyche
Vortices chromatic join the power of the sign and going to be the new object of the narration. In the works of Milanda de Mont, visual narratives are made via a genius of thought that explores the mind and shows its synthesis. The refined purity tract combines suspended moments, exalting in dense colours and pure colours, contrasts of signs that generate income, even when they are declined tone on tone with undeniable elegance. The nuances, contrasts of light and shade, the choice of colours are the result of a penetrating attention to the reality of the recognizable. Confessions shout. Will the soul. Whispers of the psyche. The main features of paintings, expresses; Milanda de Mont, its greatest interpreter.
The artist has been able to create a new visual alphabet whose symbolism refers conceptually to the complexity of the human intellect.

The artist writes: “Life and art are inseparable and since art is the state of our transmission my work reflects the tension between immobility forces and those of the speed in which I look at the world. It is a mystical experience that conveys a sense of unity in its creative process, because art is not limited by reason, abstraction is a pure form of art in the bliss of freedom”.
The artist uses her “Performance” to better understand the viewer`s conception in order to interpret a stronger reality. She works with forms of matter and the colors, whose lights are reflected (sometimes) on their intangible shadows. Milanda imagines symbols and riddles in a sumptuous and elegant way with the help of the drawing, which resurfaces full of mysterious mobility and lightness as a track, a mark of thought. The creative vitality of the “Performance” has therefore an interpretation between the lines that make up and break down and create joints of singular figures. The composition is used here for the most part during the performance , while in the paintings are the shapes and colors that dominate and motivate the matter with a multiple coloring. In the unfolding of shadows and dreams, of shapes and gestures, the artist strives to give meaning and value to the reality that surrounds it.
All matter (with its chiaroscuro, abandonments, suggestions, references) is inserted into a strict attentive forms system. There is a close relationship between drawing and painting, while the lights and colors (with their strong contrasts) create vibrations that testify to a state of mind full of anticipation and trepidation. Inside a fantastic dimension we find an expressive magic scanned in a musical flow that is released on the web as to create a dance move. With a mature and innovative design language the color variations are made to multiply the effect of an ascension into the future. The artist takes us from materiality to spirituality in a physical and mental universe. In the blending of disciplines (drawing, painting, dance, music, lighting effects), in the free combination of colors, in the sense for decorative effects, in the tendency to superfluous details, in beautiful visual and musical connections Milanda introduces us into her itinerary to the wonderful. In this lively and changeable matter, light and supple, in this free gesture that connects the artist’s instinct to light we find a lot of poetry, passion and love for life.

Art Review Translation in English By CRELALA KUNST GALERIE GERMANY:
To make a philosophy of life from the abstract possibilities, to travel as an artist facing the world and to be shown in the museums of the world, because the work is valuable, that becomes clear when you meet the artist Milanda de Mont. Her way and the way of presenting her work is so special that you may not be able to help but lose yourself in her work to find out what it is. Perhaps it is the origin of the Australian that reflects a special kind of attitude to life. Wit, wit, spirit, the openness and cosmopolitanism, the ability to switch from one language to the other, to be able to adjust ad hoc to the other person, to give impulses along the way and to empathize with her work, that makes the artist a star in the artist’s heaven, the role model is for many artists.
To show openness, to seek dialogue, to cultivate international relations… never before did the world need international ambassadors more than perhaps today.
Milanda de Mont has many stories to tell and it is worth listening to. Having met her can be understood as an honor, because those who listen carefully can learn much, far beyond art, beyond the world as a whole, the planet, which is such a fragile entity that for years has released its unprotected gaze into the universe under the Australian sky and always needs ambassadors who embark on peacekeeping missions and seek dialogue. And Milanda de Mont is a shining example of a special kind of world politics that does without the great political speeches in conversation.

Milanda de Mont Gregorian, Australian Contemporary Artist
Her striking abstractions emerge and exhibit purity of her artistic expression as a means of liberation and above all creative energy of life. Fluid brushstrokes, display a vibrancy of their own. Her paintings reveal and reflect love and joy of colour, flowing in rippling paths. The interaction of interrelated forms, movement, energy, space, lines, emotion, create interplay, stretching the form in harmonious compositions beyond the physical limits of the canvas. She states: “I am in a constant visual dialogue with my art; I cross through the unknown territories to find a voice celebrating and marking its individual quality. My inspirations of nature, aesthetics, experiences, mediums used, lead my painting process, transforming the surface into a dimension of unified pictorial imagery”.

Milanda De Mont’s enamel paintings exemplify her ideas of artistic expression as a means of liberation. De Mont’s fluid brushstrokes exhibit a vibrancy and life of their own. Inspired by the energies and movement of nature, De Mont is able to personify these energies through colors, lines, and forms that transform the canvas into a unified living image. De Mont describes her process as energetic and spontaneous. “I let myself be carried away without resistance while my entire being is dedicated to the free-flowing expression of line, color and form as it coalesces into living imagery.” Influenced by the physical urges of Abstract Expressionism, her paintings unleash the fury of Franz Kline with the colorful lyricism of Helen Frankenthaler. Each painting sustains its own unity while at the same time encompassing a vivid, distinct, abstract expression that is universally appealing. De Mont’s appeal lies in her ability to express relationships that exist between nature and mankind. The abstract forms De Mont creates express a unification of these natural and humanistic elements. Her artwork creates a visual dialogue and artistry, synthesizing her observations in her lifelong artistic career as painter and world traveler, truly embracing a global consciousness.

Personale 5, Naples exhibition, October – November 2011
Milanda De Mont – 14 October 2011
By Christian Iorio, Art Critic, Naples, Italy.
Translation in English:
Being in the art as a translator of the movement, the art being created as an interpreter of a transport that is poured onto the canvas through a continuous gesture, to be travelling, flow and liquid material: the painting of Milanda De Mont comes as synaesthesia, as a mastery of the expressive code that drowns the limits of space and overlapping combinations of colour and body, vision and artistic gesture. The work of the artist plays with the dimensions of the plans and pulses in an attempt to contain the totality of the vital space. She does not know whether the movement, she critically examines it to disperse it, until she is overwhelmed and thus opens an interior door. From the newborn breakthrough of light wind and storm go through undisturbed, the poetic and rarefied air stays, the impulse generated and brought back to the kinetic sphere starts. There is a pictorial journey through the origins of intention. Travel as a lived experience along the path of life between Armenia, Australia, Germany; a journey as the chosen stable dimension that can explain, with a desperate happiness, the character of Milanda De Mont. Twisted Clouds, Amber Glow, we have already a phonetic impression from the result of her colour work, it is already a flow that gives the artist the stabbing, exploding as a synthesis. The impact of the colours is a fascination for the viewer; it is power that causes the eye to chase a labyrinth of sinuous curves that wrapthe innermost. We could not have more clear an interpretation of the work that the observation of the work itself, an entrance-gate work that invites to enter a memory in which, painting and performative language are sedimented and dissolved in each other. Live Eros, in the sense of fusion and tension, through the works of an artist who opens her field of investigation to the influence of art conceived as a whole creative and expressive.
